I have never graded any of my cards before, where do I start?
A: If you are grading your cards with Mintink for the first time, the easiest way to get started is by filling out our card submission order form. Our Services include preparing your cards, submitting and shipping your cards to PSA or SGC. Once you drop off your card(s) to the store, we will process your transaction and keep you informed of the process and next steps. If you are unable to drop off your cards directly to our shop, you may ship your cards directly to us. Once we receive your order, we will send an email with photo confirmation along with your invoice for final approval, shipping instructions and payment prior to being shipped to PSA or SGC. Once the graded cards are received from PSA, we will provide return shipping prices from Mintink directly to you. Any questions or concerns, feel free to send us an email at email@example.com
How do I know if my cards are valuable enough to be sent in for grading?
A: Depending on the service that is selected, PSA looks at the estimated declared value of the card - which means the estimated value of the card you think it will be worth when it is graded and sent back from PSA. The best way to check the value of any card is to look for the same or similar card on ebay.ca or 130point.com. Look for the cards that were sold most recently for complete accuracy and current values.
What is the difference between PSA and SGC? Is there a difference between the two & which company should I choose?
A: PSA is the most recognizable and trusted grading company for sports cards. Cards that are graded with PSA usually hold more value than cards graded by other grading companies.
SGC is an up and coming grading company that is slowly gaining more and more popularity. Cards graded with their service are slowly increasing in value. SGC is also a more affordable alternative for grading cards in comparison to PSA.
Will you still submit my cards if the grade on it is most likely going to come back lower than expected? or will I be notified about anything like this?
A: We will carefully look over the cards through a loop and notify you of any major/minor concerns that we have before we submit it. After we notify you of any sort of issues with the card, the decision will be completely up to you if you want to follow through with the submission. We will refund you if any cards are omitted from the submission.
