Joe Sakic didn’t take long to become a household name among hockey fans, as he made his first All-Star Game in just his second season. He became a regular in the game and was voted an All-Star 13 total times in his career while playing in 12 of the games. This resulted from him always performing at a high level and showed he had gained the respect of the fans and his peers. Sakic didn’t disappoint and always put on a show to justify his selections. By the end of his career, he recorded 22 All-Star Game points, including six goals and 16 assists. This still is the record for career assists in All-Star play.
