Position Overview 

Mintink Sports Cards Inc. is looking for an experienced Full-Time Retail Buyer to lead customer buying activity at our Vaughan retail location. This is a dedicated acquisition role spanning sports cards and trading card games, including raw singles, professionally graded cards, collections and other approved collectible categories. 

The successful candidate will be commercially sharp, confident with valuation and negotiation, and trusted to make disciplined buying decisions within approved budgets and purchasing authority. You will work closely with the Head Buyer at HQ and the Vaughan Store Manager to deliver a strong, professional seller experience while building quality inventory for Mintink. 

What You'll Do 

• Lead approved in-store buying activity across sports cards and TCG, including raw singles, graded cards, high-value slabs, mixed lots and collections. 
• Evaluate collections, research recent sold comparables and prepare accurate offers based on condition, grade, demand, inventory position and expected resale outcomes. 
• Negotiate clearly and professionally with sellers while protecting approved margins, budgets and company buying objectives. 
• Identify key card attributes that affect value, including player, set, year, parallel, serial numbering, autograph, variation, edition and condition. 
• Maintain the Vaughan buying plan and track purchase commitments against weekly spend limits, category allocations and purchasing priorities. 
• Escalate unusually high-value, difficult-to-price, potentially altered or counterfeit, or outside-of-scope items before committing company funds. 

• Complete accurate transaction records, valuation notes, seller documentation and item descriptions in Mintink's designated systems. 
• Count, label, secure and maintain custody of purchases until they are formally handed off to the appropriate inventory, listing or grading team. 
• Coordinate buying appointments, incoming collection leads and larger evaluations with the Vaughan Store Manager and Head Buyer. 
• Build repeat seller relationships through responsive follow-up, sound market advice and a consistently professional customer experience. 
• Provide concise updates on completed purchases, pending opportunities, budget use, processing status and market intelligence. 

What We're Looking For 

• Substantial hands-on experience independently buying and valuing sports cards, TCG singles, graded cards and collections in a card shop, dealer, auction or collectibles business. 
• Strong knowledge of major sports-card markets and relevant TCG categories, including raw-card condition assessment and graded-card markets. 
• Proven ability to research sold-market comparables, build disciplined offers and negotiate purchases while balancing margin, liquidity and budget constraints. 
• Comfort evaluating high-value items and knowing when to pause and escalate questions around authenticity, condition, ownership, valuation or buying authority. 
• Strong numerical ability, organized follow-through and confidence using Excel, inventory systems and marketplace research tools. 
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and partner effectively with retail and HQ teams. 
• Existing relationships in the GTA hobby community, grading-submission experience or familiarity with platforms such as eBay sold listings, TCGplayer and certification tools are assets. 

Work Structure 

This is a full-time, on-site role based at Mintink's Vaughan store. The schedule will include availability during active customer buying periods; evenings, weekends, trade shows or special events may occasionally be required based on business needs.

Part-Time Stock Associate — MINTINK

About the Role

MintInk is looking for an organized, dependable, and hands-on Part-Time Stock Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our retail store.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, working behind the scenes, and helping ensure the store is stocked and ready for customers. You will assist with product replenishment, customer pickup orders, inventory organization, receiving merchandise, and other general store tasks.

What You’ll Do

·      Replenish products and merchandise throughout the sales floor.

Availability

This position will typically be scheduled for approximately 20–30 hours per week. Availability for evenings, weekends, product releases, promotions, and other high-volume periods may be required.

Working under the creative direction of our Creative Director, the Graphic Designer will create and adapt visual assets for social media, digital marketing, eCommerce, retail locations, events, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for weekly Organized Play and special events across Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Gundam, and other TCG titles, along with Trade Nights, pre-releases, Learn-to-Play sessions, and other community events. The successful candidate will be highly organized, community-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

·      Build and maintain Mintink's weekly TCG and community event calendar

·      Coordinate weekly play, tournaments, leagues, pre-releases, and Organized Play across supported TCG titles

·      Create and manage events through applicable Organized Play platforms, Shopify, and Mintink.ca

·      Plan and coordinate special events including Trade Nights, collector events, product launches, and Learn-to-Play programming

Mintink Sports Cards Inc. is hiring energetic and customer-focused Live Streamers / Breakers to join our Mintink Live team. This role is responsible for hosting live breaking streams, presenting products on camera, and engaging with customers in real time across live-selling platforms.

This is a performance-driven role that combines entertainment, product knowledge, accuracy, and customer service. Live Streamers / Breakers are expected to represent the Mintink brand professionally while delivering an engaging, trustworthy, and compliant live shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Live Streaming & Break Execution

·      Host live streams on Whatnot and other approved platforms under the Mintink Live brand

·      Open and present sports card and TCG products accurately and professionally on camera

·      Maintain high energy, engagement, and clear communication throughout live streams

Customer Engagement & Order Accuracy

·      Interact with customers live by answering questions and acknowledging purchases

·      Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment by matching pulled cards to customer orders

·      Maintain an organized and compliant streaming workspace

Brand Representation & Promotion

·      Represent Mintink professionally on camera and in all customer interactions

·      Promote Mintink events, services, grading, and new product releases during streams

·      Support marketing efforts through clips and highlights from live streams

Qualifications

·      Comfortable and confident on camera

·      Strong communication and customer engagement skills

·      Passion for sports cards, Pokémon, TCGs, or collectibles

·      Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, live environment

·      Availability for evenings and weekends

·      Previous live streaming, retail, or customer-facing experience is an asset but not required

Work Structure

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and is on-site at Mintink’s Concord location. Shifts are primarily scheduled during evenings and weekends based on live programming needs.

Additional Information

This posting is for an existing vacancy. Compensation includes an hourly base plus commission within the stated range. Mintink Sports Cards Inc. complies with all applicable Ontario employment standards and pay transparency requirements.
